The not-for-profit Montana Center for Horsemanship is the first and only educational equine center in the United States to focus exclusively on ‘Natural Horsemanship’—a philosophy that’s based on understanding horse behavior, and bridging the gap between natural and conventional training to provide a stronger, more rewarding foundation for riding, working, and interacting.
Being a part of creating the brand for an organization that is helping preserve one of Montana’s defining traditions is something we relished.
The requirement was to begin with a brand that echoed the traditions of education and university (the Center has a close partnership with University of Montana-Western), but yet be something students would be proud to wear on a hat or t-shirt.
We then moved to the website, where messaging was needed to flesh out the current offering, and the plans for future expansion.
We also created a custom site map, and a rendering of the proposed arena. Based on the website design and content, then we developed a small brochure, with its first use at the ground-breaking, which was attended by the Governor of Montana.
